Description
Description   Open in 1986, Cornerstone is our 18-bed Supervised Apartment Program for adults with serious mental health issues. The program provides a transitional setting in a cluster of apartments where individuals can acquire the skills necessary to achieve greater degrees of independence. Staff work within the complex and are readily available 24 hours a day to supervise residents. Living in an integrated setting side-by-side with non-program tenants, residents can more readily learn interpersonal skills and be better prepared to transition into other community settings. Our clients are involved in individualized services and skills training, and enjoy weekly activation (our recreational, social and educational groups) offered on-site.
