Description
Description   An 8 bed group home designed to provide treatment to adults with a mental health diagnosis. We are a voluntary program that values recovery, promotes health and helps residents prepare for independent living. Milner House is responsible for implementing Medicaid Rehabilitation Option(MRO) which is a Medicaid vehicle for paying for rehab services within the group home environment. MRO services include groups, individual counseling, health management, medication monitoring and are focused on helping individuals achieve their highest degree of independent functioning and recovery. Residents may also see a therapist or Employment Counselor throughout their stay to help to provide them with the additional support as needed. Staff work with residents to help them build the skills and internal strength to succeed in the community. Most who leave Milner House move into an apartment, either alone or with a roommate. Milner House is dedicated to help residents prepare for this move.
